Feast of St Panteleimon: Holy Spirit Orthodox Church is invited to join our friends at Holy Cross Monastery for the feast of their patron saint, the holy Great Martyr and Healer Panteleimon! His Grace Bishop Luke of Syracuse will preside at the feast.
A Festal Vigil will be served on the evening of Friday, August 8th, at 6:30 pm. On the morning of Saturday, August 9th, there will be a water blessing at 8 am and a Hierarchical Divine Liturgy at 9 am.
This year will be a historic occasion, as Bishop Luke will officially install Igumen Gabriel as the new Abbot of the monastery at the conclusion of the Liturgy. Afterwards, a special Festal Moleben to St. Panteleimon will be served, followed by a festive meal.

Our Men's Group will be having a separate pilgrimage on Saturday morning, August 9, to the Monastery. They will meet at the Holy Spirit Orthodox Church parking lot at 8 am and promptly leave at 8:15 am to carpool. RSVP was required by Sunday, August 3, 2025, to Donnie Lucas for a count for the luncheon.
